The last 8 months have been very tough & honestly devastating to a degree. The Love & support Ive received from the industry & my sponsors has been truly amazing. They're has been a lot of athletes very vocal over this decision & I truly appreciate it tremendously. I'm extremely sorry that it's come down to this but it has shown me just how much this industry stands up for each other through tough situations. To my fans... I'm not gonna lie after receiving this devastating news last Friday, I was honestly contemplating retiring, I felt like I couldn't fight anymore. This situation has taken a toll on me. But The support from you the fans this last 24hrs has had me nearly in tears. Reading the comments & seeing all the overwhelming letters, signs, shirts, etc has made me ready to fight & show you the fans & my sponsors what you deserve. Thanks to all of you Im gonna be around for a long time to come. Your support showed me how much you guys appreciate me so with that being said, it's gonna take a lot more then this to run me off. Thank you for literally keeping me on my bike for years to come. The louder you guys are, the more it makes me ready to be back for you. I hear you loud & clear so no matter what you will see me behind the gate doing what I love hopefully sooner than later

So let's say he is out until August. His contract is up in 2015 correct? Does Suzuki re-sign him or does he come back on his own dime and race just for himself... Not going to lie, it's a huge relief to hear that he's not hanging the boots up (for now).

What he ought to do is race Arenacross kill it. And then every one off race he can gen to and kill everyone just to keep him occupied.
And then lets get rid of the lame World SX GP garbage. Who needs Canada anyway.

I know it's just an IG post but from the sounds of it he seems to want to stick around even longer than he originally intended.

he will be teamed with alessi.....
Atleast the "MCR" bike will get single digit finishes.
Might wanna go check results from last year bud most mcr finishes were in the top 10, 1 rider even got a podium overall...

James, keep fighting I believe there's a way somehow to be loud enough that this can be over turned. It needs to be, you need to be at a1 racing or else the winner of 2015 will have to except he did it without everyone there.

That is an awesome idea. It will not only keep him occupied (helping the time pass faster) and training other than riding at the compound, but also would keep his fans excited. If I ran a series outside of SX, I would be calling him like crazy right now. Imagine what the TV ratings would be for AX if Stewart said he would be racing some of them?

Well, August 2015 is a long time. This is an absolute travesty to the sport. I hope all the promoters involved are happy. That includes DC and Feld.

Good for James! Glad he feels the way he does and it makes me happy that he's willing to keep fighting.

" I think ".....the suspension time of 16 months ( completely uncalled for! ) is going to either get cut in half , or possibly 1 year. Hell....it should be something like 4 rounds or something.

He's shown more class through this than anyone expected...even himself from the sound of it. He'll be dangerous when he comes back re-energized and healthy. Good for him. I still think they'll reduce his suspension time though....we'll see.

I think he'll be at A1 behind the gate ready to race.

With the AMA stepping up I have a feeling that things are just getting started.

And after 2015 he should join team 22 and team up with Chad.

I like this idea. But is arenacross sanctioned by the AMA? If the AMA was smart they would let him in because he would sell out all the arenas.

Then in 2016 he needs to go over to Europe and beat those guys so bad they won't have money for braces.

If the ruling stands, he's done. He may bounce around here and there, but he's finished.

PulpMX show last week said he just signed a two year deal for 15 and 16.

This is all a joke. No series is valid without JS, if he's healthy. I know. He broke a rule. I get it. I'm just saying a huge element will be gone from the racing.

Other than Tomac, who else can win a race without a good start? Maybe Reedy, but that's it. Trey? Dungey? Roczen? Barcia? Not a chance. They can win, but they can't come thru the pack like Tomac or JS. Not good. Not good at all.

Milsap? He's a wildcard.

I can see DC, Redbul, etc stepping in and "helping" this matter get resolved in the next week. Sounds like James knows something we don't know.

I hope he ends up on a green machine Smile

Sounds like to me this has just re-energized James to a point that WHEN he does line up again he'll be downright lethal...just a hunch.
