And that's my point about how tough it would be to manage the San Manuel team.

Senior will never let loose of the control.

My boy is going on 25 and has a job also. Imagine me at Quantico Marine Corps Base standing there ranting and screaming as my kid (who is a grown man) is trying to do an obstacle course or some other tough evolution.

If you have been around since his amateur days you would know that big James is an emotional father. Is that a bad thing? I think not, he lays it out there like it or not and has a heart of gold as does his wife. So, there you have it.

What do you expect him to do? I've gotten pissed when my son has been cleaned out before. I might not trip like that but everybody's different. When you have as much on the line as these guys emotions run high.

Hey, my kid? I'd be pissed too. And I would get over it also. Understandable emotion to be sure.

Yeah what an idiot, out there waiving his arms like hes trying to fly away! As if James is not already disappointed he lost the race, now he has to go deal with daddy being upset. Once again our sport looks like back yard wrestling. Where else would you see something like that happen. Save it for the locker room at least.

I normally don't disagree with you much MXTRAINER but does that mean that Tony Alessi is just an emotional father also?

Unless James Sr. is holding a pit board, and wrenching on James's bike, he has no business on the floor period.

I think James wanted some words with Reed. If you watch, Big James is yelling at James to go to the pits. He was hot but it looked like he was trying to get James to leave.

When a man turns 18 he answers only to himself as a human being. 4th place in ama sx 450 is shit? Dad ripping on him at the finish? Fuck that.

How many team managers wish they could let it out like that?

So no Team managers on the floor then, just mechanics?

This is pro level racing, and James is one of the best. The cameras are always on him and James Sr. should act in a professional manner.

No excuse for that outburst. Even RC made the comment that he treated James like an amateur.

You know James would have scored a lot of points with a lot of people if he had ignored his dad and stuck around to get interviewed and take a "that's racing" attitude to show he's a bigger man than a lot of people give him credit for. He's 25 and a multimillionaire--time for Daddy to let Junior be his own man.

James Sr. was on the floor when Jame was at Kawi.

Was he the team manager then?

Were they interviewing the top four tonight?

Honestly, it almost looked like Bubbs was going to let it rip on Reed and James Sr. was telling him to hit the showers. Guess we'll never know. I know I'll be watching the Wind Tunnel tomorrow night.
