He took second overall but did win the second moto. Blose took the overall with 1-4 cause he got a point for winning the bracket racing. Owen went 4-1 for 2nd and Goerke went 2-2 for third which I thought would have won the overall.

When did a 1-4 or 4-1 beat a 2-2??
There is zero logic in a 2-2 going for 3rd overall on any planet.

In AX, the point structure is different. Only 1 pt difference between each place.

You also get a point if you finish in top 4 in the heat and qualify for the head to head.
Another point if you win the head to head.

So for this race:

Blose: 15 (race 1 win) + 12 (race 2 4th) + 2 (H2H win) = 29

Owen: 12 (race 1 4th) + 15 (race 2 win) + 1 (heat win) = 28

Goerke: 14 (race 1 2nd) + 14 (race 2 2nd) + 0 (heat 9th) = 28


Tie breaker still goes to best finish in 2nd race.


Its definitely a different system than we're used to, but it seems to keep the points closer. I like it.
