Jason Thomas is predicting that Eli Tomac will again take the top spot at the Atlanta SX, and beat out Marvin Musquin & Ryan Dungey in the process...and that Dungey will again only manage a third place finish!

What do you think? Do you think Dungey will still suffer from whatever is bugging him?

This has nothing to do with anything...but I just saw a Fox ad with their new black/gold gear. I wouldn't surprise me to see RD, Reed & the PC bunch wearing the "wrong shade of black" in Atlanta on Saturday.

Same song second verse? Musquin comes up on a lapper (Stewart) and Dungey goes on for the win. Whistling

I can see it happening. I can't see Dungey pushing until he feels the need to hit that next level.

Marvin or Eli wins, Dungey finishes on the podium and still retains points lead?

As a life long Georgia sports fan, I wish I could say it hurt. More like expected

Dungeys job right now is to beat MM and stay on the podium. A win would be great but a podium and MM off the box is better for him.

MM was the fastest guy in Mpls. So smooth on a bombed out track.

So many dudes out there to cheer for. I would like to see Eli and Marv finish ahead of Ryan for a few more races , and tighten the points between the three of them. But gawd dang....sure would be badass to see Cole get a great start and win it!!

Wonder if Barcia will pick the pace up and get in the mix? Reed and Malcolm hopefully too.

Personally I wouldn't mind if Seely got him a win soon. Musquin is amazing on just the right track...not so amazing on every track. I like Marvin, and was glad to see him rip a win off...but I think Dungey is probably getting sick of all the "what's wrong with Dungey" talk, and will show what he's got starting...maybe Atlanta. Tomac better get a start.

I'm saying...Dungey for the win, but Tomac will be on his rear fender all night long.

Dungey
Tomac
Musquin
Seely

I think Friese should do that. Then he could T bone someone with a Falcons jersey and start a riot.

For the record, I think JT is right: Tomac was a complete manimal last round and showed that he could come from way back. He has fixed whatever was bugging him, and Dungey has not. MM is fast but hasn't shown Tomac speed yet. Seems about right to me.

I'm 3rd in my fantasy group. I know everyone will pick tomac. But I have to do something different to make up ground. Marvin wants revenge from last year. Got him first in my earlier lineup.

If MM25 can stay close to ET throughout the race he should be able to make it interesting once the track is completely broke down. Eli is also good on a broken down track but Eli's starts can be hit or miss. Gonna be fun for sure, I'm definitely pulling for my man ET3. Marv is a awesome person and rider but.. Go Tomac!!!

I believe it has been a fairly dry winter around Atlanta compared to a lot of them.
Wondering if that will change the track conditions a bit from the usual rutfest.
With the ax race Friday night I would at least expect that portion of the track to be a little more good old Georgia blue grove red clay by Saturday night.
That would be a different chapter.

With a good start, and provided that the usual suspects, get a poor start, I think there are plenty of guys that could take the top spot on the podium.

I personally aint ever counting out RD in a championship. he's always been the guy going for the long run , and he almost always finds a way to make it work. I'm rooting for Eli....but damn , it very hard to root against RD. The guy is a proven champion , even if some guys doubt him over the past couple races. I watch round #2 , and it reminds just how fast that guy can go if he wants it. You doubt RD , anyone doubts RD....you could very well be eating crow after the race.

If steely gets a start and rides loose he can win it. Let's also not forget he's tied with tomac in points. May just be an upset

No way Barcia gets in the mix this weekend. Maybe by the end of the season. He will be 10-15th and probably get lapped in Atlanta.

I would LOVE to see Cole get a win. I don't think Dungey will win this weekend.
