JT Racing taught the whole Moto Industry how to be.

I started with the full orange set just like DB wore then moved on to the bones set that the machine made famous. You could order your own custom butt patch, mine read "see ya" pretty funny but definitely the premeire gear of the time for sure.

I hope they would be legit, and not another clown uniform manufactor. I'd even like to see them use the old-school JT logo (see Lechein photo) and not the 3-D one. But then I'm old, and tend to live in the past a lot.

I am guessing they WILL have a Nostalgic look of old come January at A1!! You know kind of like how Ford and Chevy have taken the new Mustangs and Camaro's and gave them oldschool body style with Modern curves. I am gussing JT will do the same sort of thing. Oldshool design's with Modern technology.

They definitely need to go retro, us old guys would be happy

i have a JT Rain suit in my garage, those are pretty rare. It is a one piece jumpsuit for mud races.

JT always had THE most fashionable gear out there. Just too cool.
Plus they had most of the go-fasters back in the day wearing the stuff-which didn't hirt sales.

That is somewhat true.....rawlings the baseball company is involved as well. I think they actually own the rights all "ed hardy" sells is lisencing to make product with that horrible name on it.

GLad thay are coming back they've been working on this for a while, my buddy was working for the company that was going to make the helmets ...thats where they were supposed to start first....then on to gear.

I have my Team Honda and 2 pairs of my Team OSSA . and I can still fit in them? Boy were we crazy wearing those riding 6 motos during the day in the 100 degree Cal sunshine then ride Ascot or Irwindale at night. Good old days...

CONGRATULATIONS JOHN & RITA!! I am so happy you have been elected to the AMA Hall of Fame!! I worked at JT for many, many years and have nothing but fond memories.......ohhh boy...if only those walls could talk!! The great talent that walked through those doors....and the complete madness that happened in between! Any other alumni out there?...



.also Congrats to Dave Emde.........may he RIP....such a great guy...i will always remember his big smile! Smile and kind heart......love to his family.....

My biggest question is will the new JT gear be as long lasting as the originals. I'm tired of buying pants that start to unravel within a month. I pull out my 83'ish JT stuff and it still is in good shape so I wear it instead, gloves included.

I still have my first set of JT gear from when I was 4 years old. Well, my mother has it, I think she is waiting to use it to try to embarrass me in front of my future fiance. gloves boots, jersey, pants, and "YZinger" helmet.

who remembers "YZinger" from the early 80s?
