so when did James stop caring if he won?

GL can't stop telling us he isn't interested in winning this race due to the competition level with RV out....

It was bouncing all over the place. Even worse in a second moto.
Oh well... On to Hangtown.

I think tracks like Glen Helen and Unadilla are tracks that are tough to prepare for. Natural terrain tracks.
I don't know what specific altitudes are, but the tracks seem like they are impossible to prepare for.

If James is finishing races he's keeping himself in the hunt for a championship.

He is fine. Things will filter themselves out in the first 4 or 5 rounds and he will rise to the top or hit the deck. Stamp that.

I know this sounds stupid, but his bike always looks extremely tall compared to others. Almost like it is set up for a taller rider. If you look at RVs, it looks so much lower and has a better center of gravity. and I think RV and James are the same height. Probably just my imagination though.Dry

He'll have his Toronto mojo hit the track eventually....I hope.

With all that sand they brought in, it looked to me like they set the bike up a bit too much for those sandy corners. Slowing up the rear comp helps a ton in that sort of dirt...but too slow...and it starts to deflect off the small chop badly. That is what it looked like to me. Looks like a really blown set up....and he did his best to not ball it up like he would have in the past.

With age comes wisdom, but he didn't look very good today. Terrible starts didn't help anything either.

Stewart needs to go back to Kawasaki. He should form his own team like Reed. He really has not had as much success since leaving them in 07.

He won MX championship in 08, SX championship in 09. He left Kawasaki in 08

Thank you for the corrections, my memory is a bit foggy. Regardless, IMO he has not been the same rider(racer) since leaving Kawasaki.

Was it that new 2015 suspension Suzuki was selling us on at the intro this AM?

James will contend for the win at Hangtown. Straight hardpack track...not such a compromise to set up for. He was smart to just bring it home 6th in the points today.

James will be a force and hopefully can compete the whole series, I just got tired of hearing the announcers keep saying he wasn't trying to win today because of the competition with RV out..

What does that mean? So, if RV was out there he would've tried harder?

Except for his start , I thought he rode good, seemed to be riding aggressive, bummed for the set back with Canard.
