Weege said the other day Suzuki is trying to look after him but based on what RC said at RCU down here, i'd be shocked if he has a say in it.

Having said that, he wasn't always a Weimer fan either.

No way RCH sign him. They've got big names in there already in the form of the 2 owners, they want results , hard work and value for money, not an ageing prima donna on high wages who only shows up when he feels like it.

Don't think it would work out at RCH IMO, because I believe if James had an issue, RC would tell him to suck it up and get his ass out there. There is no word "quit" in RC's vocabulary.

I was thinking though...aside from RCH, what top-tier rides are open for Stewart? Honda? Full. Kawasakt? Full. Yamaha? Full...and it would never happen. KTM? Full. BTO? Full. JGR? Again...been there, done that, it'll never happen. And...full. Suzuki...I mean, RCH...?

James still has the name recognition for an outside sponsor. I'm not sure if Yosh fills the void that Jimmy John's left or not. But if they still want a big name sponsor James will help with that whether he is first or last.

So what is the problem with signing him on a contract that is heavy on the bonus side.

Like OK James you want a ride

100k salary

big bonus for top 3

potential to make millions if you win

if you don't nice try


Not saying James would do it but his rides seem very limited on top tier teams and I don't see how anyone would shell out a million+ on him with the shape he's in and his results.

So it may be his only choice if he wants a good ride.
