yeah, he is human remember. I dont think that he can blow Dungey away by any means, but I dont expect JS to come in second every week. Hopefully dungey will take where RC left off an he and JS can have some good racing like RC in JS used to.

I expect if JS shows up to Southwick that he'll be harder to beat there than he was at Unadilla. James was/is fast everywhere but I can't see Dungey beating him in the sand. All week I thought RD had a great chance against JS at dilla but Southwick is a different animal. In 08 James was like 4-5 sec a lap faster than everyone., While I don't expect that I still expect him to win there if he shows up.

he always says his bike is off. he said the same thing at anahiem and the anahiem before that. Doesnt LM do any testing or prep work before they go racing ?

I agree. He came in not knowing how everything was going to shake out, he will take stock of his performance and come back next weekend and improve on it. Like a true champion.

I'll admit, I was one of the wishful thinkers that thought Stewart would win out, but Dungey is for real and it's going to take time for Stewart to ride his way back to the top. I expect steady improvement from JS for the rest of the series.

"I missed the fans and I can tell you, the dilla gave alot of love 2 me. " I find ithard to believe that he missed the fans as he was pretty much hidden all day and when he was out he ignored the fans. Outside of the scheduled signings of course.

I agree bike setup looked off. It almost looks like the Yamaha is under powered?

yea, I agree. he'll be fine. you don't go from 6 to 9 months or whatever it was of inactivity to full race shape in less than a month. it's gonna take some time.

100% rider 0% bike. James bike did not quit on him he quit on his bike.

James went all Jlaw yesterday. He got a shitty start and called it a day 2005 style. Dungey has made 2 great riders quit this yr and made another rider ride over his head and break his leg.

Dungey is simply amazing.

Stewart pulling out of the race because he got a bad start is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. Same with the pouting cuz he wasn't picked for Team USA theory. Dungey has taken the pace to another level. Same way Carmichael did in 01, same way Stewart did late in 05. James just wasn't ready, plain and simple. Dungey had him covered this time.

And it's going to be even harder for him at a track as brutal as Southwick. Steel City and Pala will hopefully provide some better racing.

I think he really should have ridden it out like all the rest do every week if thier set up does not feel right. He is a little rusty and his front end was twitchy as hell and deflecting off of everything with that SX suspension. It was really bad. lol Also I remember James said it was his least favorite track a few years back so a tough week but it will get better for him. His expectations should be low coming off an injury that ended many careers. RD is on the gas.

Yeah, they test at Pala and other smooth groomed tracks as seen in those videos. We were asking then, what do you figure out under those conditions?
