Click on the thread about Malcolm riding a KX450.
In the picture posted you can see two Honda seven machines in the background. Makes this Honda effort seem like more than just a ride day for kids.

I see you're a sucker for fast riders with erratic results just like me. Let me guess, Bradshaw and Lechien also at the top of your list while McGrath, RC and Dunge never really did it for you? Tomac on the bubble but only when he had 2015 speed? Maybe we could start a peer support network for all affected by this defect.
What are you getting at here? JS7 won more in a few years than Bradshaw or Lechien won in there entire careers.

To me here he looks like a happy ex pro Motocross rider that is enjoying having a go out on a bike riding a few laps with some kids that may be future stars.

He has a smile on his face and money in his bank account. He achieved what he did and stayed healthy and safe. Good to see photos of him. Enjoy your retirement James and thanks for the many many special weekends watching you ride.

Yeah if you believe what they discussed on Pulp the other week he apparently hadn't been riding that much, came out to the SX track, set the fastest time basically straight away and then pretty much yarded it up not long after that.

As much as I'd love to watch him out there, just as I love watching Chad, the way James rides and the amount he has hit the deck legitimately scares me. Their entire career, Chad has had the ability to ride within himself, whilst James almost always looks horrible going slower than what he can, a couple of those last races he looked like he was going to die not running the pace.

All his great races are on tape, nothing left to prove, and I know playing with my two rug rats means more than basically anything else. Whatever he does, hope he's smart about it.

That's cool to see him come out of hiding, but, from a marketing standpoint I feel like this would have been a perfect time to circle this date on his calendar and try to have his ducks in order if he was mounting a comeback. That being said, no announcement, no big PR rollout, Malcolm on a black two-stroke, James doesn't appear to be in race shape, I just don't see it. Take this for face value, it's a ride day for the kids hosted by James.

Edit: Also Vital, heads up I can't make posts via the new Firefox Quantum update. I have to use chrome to post. Just something I noticed.

Greatest marketing move they could make is radio silence for the next 6/7 weeks then just show up at A1 with the BTO/7 rig like he never left people would go mental. Doesn't look very lean though....

Whoa, whoa, whoa, don't go injecting common sense into a post where a bunch of grown ass men are calling another man fat. I guess it makes them feel better about their amazing lives, acting like high school chicks toward one of the sport's greats? Whistling

for whatever it's worth, that bike certainly has some "works" parts on it. I've never seen that Nissin factory front caliper on anything other than full factory supported bikes. James Stewart or not, they don't just hand those parts out because you ask nicely.

IIRC that Big James believed JS7 needed to have 6 weeks of intense training before a season starts?
There ain't no out-of-shape thirty something in the world that can get ready to compete at a professional-level sport after 6 weeks of intense training.
Word. to that
Yet Reed is in a boot right now and saying he will be ready for A1.

y'all know everything.

I`m relaxing here in a middle of Mediterranean sea and even I know it`s just for a ride day. I don`t have time to read through 10 pages, so can anyone give me summary?
People still upset and demand answers?

Summary:

James joined in on his annual ride day, as he does each year. This year he was on a Honda with some trick suspension and a couple of other bits and pieces. He rode bikes with some kids, took some photos, had a smile on his face and looked happy and healthy.
