"James’ intensity is always a little unsettling(maybe just invigorating) to watch but it was clear to me that everything was coming to James a little faster than his body was preparing for."
Some good points made in this write-up.

James did the right thing, IMHO.
The Shop
There were a few others that got flushed as well.
I do recall him pulling off the track at Southwick (moto 1) and not coming out for moto 2 because of "the heat and bugs".
I do recall him pulling off the track at Hangtown, moto 2.
I do recall him pulling off the track at Unadilla, moto 2.
These were just races I remember because I was at them.
However, I highly doubt I'll remember WFO!'s post 14 seconds from now.
Stop making excuses for the ones that AREN'T out there and appreciate the ones that are out there.
Post counts don't really tell the whole story, but it's generally a good indication. Very rarely do guys with fewer than 100 posts have relevant and non assholish opinions.
Pit Row
I really hope he uses the downtime productively this time. He doesn't look sharp right now, looks a bit overweight and not really motivated. If he can put the work in then I wish him all the best, if not he should retire and open the ride up for a young gun.
My gut instinct is that he's living off reputation now and needs a couple more $easons to bolster the retirement fund. If he comes back and sets the place alight I will gladly eat my words. I didn't need to after I predicted no more championships in 2010 and I don't think I will need to this time either.
To many people thinking about themselves out there, thinking they need him out there for marketing purposes, too many fans thinking he just "has" to be out there racing, without thinking that maybe Stew would actually be better off being able to remember his 24-0 season.
Just say'n...
Same with Trey, these guys can't catch a break anymore and I'd prefer to see them hang it up than keep digging deeper and deeper into tragedy. Not because I'm a hater but because I'm a fan.
I'm starting to question if James will ever be the same and if it's worth continuing to leave huge parts of himself out on the floor of stadiums all over the country week after week. Same again with Trey, I don't ever wanna see that guy get another injury.
For some this sport gives life. For others it just seems to take and take and take.
