I can't help but look back at last year and the start of Jeremy training with Johnny O'mara. Since that time, Jeremy seems to start slow in motos and finish strong. We all know he can go on forever like the Energizer bunny during motos. However I am wondering if this is a side effect from long motos etc. On the flip side, look how energetic and spunky Big Al is looking since switching from the O'show. I think Jeremy has the speed, but lacks the early aggression he possessed during his first championship winning year.

I agree with this and I don't remember it being a problem the first year he won the title. At least I remember see him just blitz everyone at GH. It's almost like Baggett who would even get passed sometimes early in motos in his Chupa years

jmart is simply pacing himself. look at dungey, he always started 'slow' and got 'faster' towards the end. (his pace is probably the same throughout the race but this way he can hold similar speed even tho the track gets rougher and slower). unless you got a horrible start and need to make ground up quickly in the beginning, i would prefer having someone do the donkey work up front and simply out perform him towards the end. or you know you are waaaay faster, then just go for it.

why did big al got passed by webb towards the end? because webb paced himself and clocked his fastes lap times when it mattered, towards the end to make the pass for the lead.

J Mart did not pace himself at hangtown... He got all kinds of squirrely.
Amart, Webb and savatgy also had like 3 months to prepare for outdoors. JMart did the east coast

as reported jmart is struggling with a cold for the past week (including hangtown). he was just trying to survive i would reckon. i was more referring to last years performance.

Jeremy will be fine, if He's really been sick then watch out when He gets to feeling good.
