Thats funny!
Funnier than that is the fact that Jason had the talent and skill to be as big and successful as Villopoto, but he made different personal decisions.

Yep, I know. I understand that Jason's path is different than 95% of us would choose, but it cracks me up he still has a sense of humor in place and seems to be ok with his life all the while nobody else is.

Say what you want, but the guy did things his way and owned it. I'll never forget watching him almost win the Daytona Supercross on that turd of a bike. I wish we still had characters like him racing today.

I'm with Pancake. When you've lived in Jersey your whole life, and watched Jason ride minis, then go pro. We are proud. Plus I think he is funny as shit.

During his time on the big bikes as an amateur, I never seen so much talent out of any rider ever to this day. One of my few career racing highlights (my last moto I raced I believe) was grabbing the holeshot over him in 250 B at Etown and he whipped it out over the staircase and left me in the dust. Such a cool moment to see what he does for a little bit in my brief sight of him up front. But hey, he ended his racing career on his own terms and is doing what he wants to do, not what others want him to do. Got to respect that.

One thing I remember about J Law - When the appeal went out for Magoo needing a new chair, or van, he donated one of the largest sums to it.

He also seemed to put a fair bit of his own money into his brief comeback, and backed some other riders in that team / set up, I think.

People still crying about JLaw? Dude is a badass, won some races, made some money, had a ton of fans, then decided it wasn't for him and stepped away. He still rips, just at his own leisure. Just because he's fast on a dirt bike doesn't mean he has to dedicate his life to it so someone on the Internet can give the guy's career merit. I'm still a fan, and always will be. Same as Dogger.

I also thought this shit was funny Laughing

Zero jealousy, just a lot of disappointment in a guy who could have put in a few hard years of work into a career and lived pretty large the rest of his life. He had the world by the nuts. Now, as a grown man, what does he do for income? Serious question, as a fan I would like to know. I think it could shut a lot of people up or make a lot of young up and comers think twice.

Did I mention that he had the world by the nuts? He at least had the moto media by the nuts. I just hate to see wasted potential. He could have played that Misfit attitude all the way to the fugging bank.

Josh Hill also said Jlaw was one of the only guys to routinely visit him in the hospital after his backflip gone awry. If I remember correctly.

All these people writing in that stupid Paige Craig thread about her twitter post about swinging, and here are some of the same people weighing in on someone else's life choices, the exact same thing that they were criticizing Paige for.

HYPOCRITICAL MUCH

Live and let live, y'all are worse than a god damn knitting club.

I keep hearing people say that, but I'm 99% that was a Factory Yamaha guys. Not taking away from Jason's ride (I'm a big fan of the kid and the sport could use a few more NFG personalities), but Jason was a year off of his Championship at that point and still getting full Factory support from Yamaha.

Didn't put them in the same category, other than the fact that I'm a fan of both. Calm down, bro.
