Regis..I'm watching the race right now and I can't believe how well he looked in that crap. He hasn't been able to keep it on two wheels all year and somehow he does it in a blizzard. What an amazing ride.
I think Hanny will get it done next week too. If there's any surface we know he can ride as well if not better then anyone it's the blue groove they'll have in vegas. If there's one track in the series close to what he dominates on at the X games its the vegas race and if anything will quiet any haters it will be him winning with all the best 250 sx riders in the world on the gate.
Does anyone know if Monster has him racing the outdoors? I heard somewhere that he's racing 250 indoors and 450 outdoors. Any truth to that?

Congrats to Hanny and GL next week.

Last I heard his contract was for SX only and then some one off events like X-Games and races like that

Pfftt.. a meaningless race. But true to form, he does just barely enough to get himself a ride.

But he did win, so that gets a congrats.

I would say that he has a good chance next week but I think Pourcel will probably walk.

I love idiot remarks like "pffft that meaningless" to a ama sx win by a guy that's done nothing as meaningful as that on a dirt bike. And no matter what never will. Jealousy is a bitch.

Idiots are the ones that back idiots. I have no problem with that.

Kid (26?) He's only lucky that the rules allowed for him to be in the lites class.

honestly how is winning a sx race meaningless when weimer and canard were racing?

Meaningless... as to the Championship. Do you think if Weimer had to win, he may have tried a little harder? If Canard or Hahn had a real chance if they won, would try a little harder?

Meaningless.... is why there were only 23 or so entries in the class. Yep.. meaningless. That's my opinion on it, you can have yours.

Anyway, as stated, congrats, he did win it.

He crushed them and rode hard.

I remember him winning like that when he was on a KTM.

Nice job!

He does not have the consistency to beat weimer. It would be cool though.

I was impressed with his heat race podium interview.

After A-1 practice I was sure he would win a few but then he made mistakes at every round.

Very good ride last night Congratulations Josh.

I have a feeling Hansen is going to do work at vegas. He's not racing outdoors so he has nothing to lose.

I am sure there are a few people right now thinking Oh F* he won. When they hired him per Monster's request and dangled that larger than normal win bonus with small salary they were sure that was money they would never have to pay. Good for Hanny!!Woohoo

In the beginning...I liked Josh, then he j-lawed, now seems too cool, but with good results, will begin to like him again, now if he would just cut his girly-man hair. Pourcel too.

Wrong, they still make out, didn't pay him for being a loser, paying him for being a winner, I think they would be happy the more he won, that's what the pay is for.Huh

A bunch of people on here seem really sure Hanny isn't racing outdoors. I'm not so sure about that and would love to hear from someone in the industry whether or not we'll see him. I'm pretty sure I heard a interview with Mitch or someone from the team that said 250 indoors and 450 outdoors for Hanny. Does anyone know for sure either way?

Hanny has always been talented. I raced against him up here in nor cal at a cmc qualifier for lorettas and the kid crushed everyone. He was waxing the 125 school boy class on an 80 with ease. Everyone knew who he was and knew he would make that step to the pros. I do how ever have to say I have been a little disappointed on how his pro career has turned out knowing the ability he has. Him and his dad put on a riding class at hollister hills a few years later and it was cool to just sit back and watch him rip that track up. His dad is very cool and I could see he wanted nothing but the best for that kid. I hope he can put his tremendous talent to use and win some more races. Either you like him or hate him but his bike skills are nothing anyone on this board can't talk shit about.

100% for sure he's not riding outdoors. he might ride a few races, but he's not racing the series.

he will be going to Europe to ride a few SX's, X Games and heading down under for Reed's SX series.
