Well-informed buddy of mine calls me up just now and says " Yo, why aren't any of those

yahoos on that world-wide web talking about JGR's rear-lockdown for starts ? "

I'm like " Whhhaaaaa you talkin' about, Willis?"

The caller suggested that JGR has a rear-end holeshot device lockdown system ?

Apparently the rear wheel lock down is old school & was considered not very effective, demonstrated recently by one Davi Millsaps.

Interesting strategy JGR has going on, cheating to lose. Well played Coy, well played

how is it cheating? They are not the only ones using it, they even said on tv at A1. I don't think they are loosing anyway brayton won a heat already and got 6th last weekend only being beat by the fastest five.

It wasn't on Brayton's bike at A1...at least for practice.

And yeah, i'd like an explanation on how it's cheating.

Wasn't Bud Racing at one time using a rear hole shot device in the GP's?

looks like the arm has a push pin device that locks into a groove in the lower shock bolt.

I am not sure what year it was but the concept is well over 20 years old.

I think it was a Phil Lawrence relative that had the first holeshot device - 1990 something?

The front fork had a strap and the rear had an arm that was pushed down and hooked to hold the rear down a little over standard ride height.

Anyone remember - It was featured in Dirt Rider Magazine
