JG tough kid

I wonder if they had to re-break his ankles to get them to heal properly. That's tough. He looks like he's in a good pain pill mood right now.

Hopefully it helps him have a great season next year! If he was hurting all season, he sure rode well considering. Pretty tough kid is right. Fun to watch when he is on it, for sure!

Can someone give me a little background here?

When did he hurt his ankles so bad? He sat out most of SX but has been riding well for Kawasaki.

I don't recall any incidents other than when he went down in X Games several years ago when his bike locked up. Seems like I remember him breaking both legs I think? Or was it both his arms. I remember him giving his mechanic a verbal lashing while he was on the ground at the time.

If that's the injury that he's finally getting fixed properly, he's been dealing with it for a long time. I hope he hasn't been dealing with it all that time. But that's the only incident I can think of right now.

Looks like a good time to start playing guitar.....
