Did anyone catch Nicos latest IG post? He had a bad crash and collapsed a lung "two days after getting out of jail". He goes on to say he was training for nationals, but does anyone know why he went to jail this time?

There was a thread a while back that showed him getting arrested at the track. Not sure it ever came out why though.

Why the hell would he advertise going to jail? I guess his sponsors must care more about street cred than character. Nothing says "ready for the great outdoors!" like a collapsed lung. Jesus...

The best thing he could do would be to give up the pipe dream of recovering the lost years of potential MX stardom. Get a "normal" job. Focus on sobriety. Focus on cleaning up all the chaos from the years of self destruction due to addiction. Try to get his crap together and keep it together so that his daughter doesn't have to visit his prison visitation room or worse, grave site and wonder what dad was like.

I remember a few months ago someone was on here saying they had arranged to buy one of Nico's old jerseys from him and Nico never sent anything. The guy claimed he paid him and Nico just never responded to him afterward. I don't know what ended up happening but I know a little bit later the guy was back and was still waiting on his jersey.

He possibly could've been finishing off serving a sentence from when he got into trouble some time ago.
Its possible he got sentenced,ordered to rehab (or went with court approval),completed his program ,then they setup a time for him to serve the remainder of his sentence. That happens from time to time.

For some reason, I am remembering a traffic stop leading to finding drugs which was a parole violation. Not stamping this though.

Heard those clapsed lungs can be a real doozy.
