So I got a real bummer phone call today , saying my 17' TC 250 won't be in until freakin' April now.

This is the thing....I plan on buying both TC 250 and a TC 125 , and they have a 17' 125 sitting there right now. Should I go pick that thing up tomorrow , ride that and my 06' RM 250 until about June / July.....and then pick up an 18' TC 250?

I wonder if Husky will get the little issues sorted out in 18' with the airbox , bad reeds and squish band?

Crap....just typing this out , I think I made up my mind....I think I'm getting that 125 tomorrow.

You've already got a 250. I'd go with the 125 for now.

The only issue with the 125 is all the sour looks you get when you blow by dudes on 450s with sweet graphics and 1000 dollar exhausts!

Nope. Hold it wide and abuse the clutch. Just like riding a bike Smile

Why are you even here asking such a stupid question when you should be making sure you have your loading ramp and tie downs in the truck with a full tank of gas???

Get the 125 and I bet you will forget about the 250. The thing has 40 HP. It's not your nephews beater 125. Its a rocket and screams.

And at 192lbs the thing is wicked when it hits the power band. Feels equally as fast if not faster than my 250f. I say get the 125 while its still there.

Yea,
If someone has a 125 in stock, you better get it now. I wish we would have ordered 50 of them!

Buy neither, and enjoy one of the best turning bikes made - that you already own. Ride the RM!

Doesent the bikes in America have faulty frames? I know a few 125s both ktm and husky that got cracked frames just a few hours in, a guy that lives 30 minutes away got a new frame yesterday, stayed up all night working on it and actually made it to the track this morning, i beleive he had 4 cracks on different parts of the frame, he is 15 and weighs 100 pounds too...
not trying to make you have second thoughts, just wanted to know if you have the same problem

He's so frazzled over his predicament I think it went right over his head...lol. He'll get there and will have forgotten the tie downs.

Ya, tough call. Not sure what kind of improvements the 2018 TC 250 will have. I don't have any insider information, but I doubt the airbox will change - seems like a deliberate decision by Husqvarna to restrict the air in an effort to make a more controllable power band. But didn't MXA say they preferred the '17 TC 250 power delivery over the '17 KTM 250 SX? I thought they had said the TC was more linear and revved higher than the SX.
