I've been doing it that way for a while now. My belief is that if it's been setting in the garage for a few days, it's probably thirsty and best thing to do is just give 'er a gallon right upon startup.

W T F is that thing he's kicking on the side of the motor?

Why does it sound like my chainsaw?

Is it suppose to smoke like that?

You can tell he straight kills it when he's on the track, too.

I'm subscribing.

Clearly so many things I'm doing wrong after watching this. Would have been funny if a bear would have jumped out of the woods.

He's obviously never had an old xr kick starter come back and smash his heal or shin.
What a ballbag

This thread reminds me of the Chaparral commercial that everyone complained about.

That bike isn't cold. A stock 125 won't Rev like that cold. It will bog and bitch at you.

You need to blast up and down the street with the thing ice cold to cold seize a motor

a lot of people dont know how to start a bike properly. This guy knows that it is called a kickstarter for a reason. if they wanted you to place your foot ON the starter and then push down, they would have called it a pushdownonitwithyourfoot starter, not a kickstarter

Couple observations:
1. He could be Ronnie Macs younder brother except without any skills
2. I'm fully surprised hes not wearing shorts
3. He likely learned how to start a dirtbike by watching The Karate Kid

This guy is one happy dude on his new to him YZ125 having the time of his life riding his bike and you dudes are ripping on him? Why, because he's not as cool as you and isn't scrubbing the local track to shreds? Or maybe because he's not wearing the latest 6D or TLD SE color combo?

He's riding which is probably more than I can say for some of the folks that post here. Buncha dickheads. Smile

The flip down visor reminded me of Turbo Rief. The way he was kicking the kickstarter reminded me of a retard haha.

Just cause he's a "happy dude" having the "time of his life" is no excuse for ignorance of how to properly take care of a bike. If you are responsible enough to buy a bike, you should be responsible enough to learn how to treat it.

Really, dean? You see no problem at all with him literally kicking his kickstarter and revving his bike to the moon seconds after starting??

And what the hell, where did scrubbing tracks and wearing the lastest gear come into the discussion??

You just commented to troll the thread, bro. Nice cast. Whistling

You missed the post that are bagging on his visor and other little things. And just because he's kicking his bike the way he does doesn't mean he's necessarily doing it wrong. Looks like it's starting perfectly fine to me. He may be new to riding and still learning the ropes, did you do everything perfect when you first learned? The dudes is riding and having fun and yet it's funny to bag on him because of how he looks and the way he rides.

You're crazy if you think every person that rides a dirtbike learns the exact responsibilities of how to to execute everything perfect. And where did you get from this video that he doesn't know how to take care of his bike? Troll out!

Uh ok, You see that bike over my user name? That would be a 125, that's all I ride. I can tell you 100% I can walk out to my garage, kick it over and it will rev to the moon just like that. Eitherway, that vid gives the wrong idea about 2 strokes. To someone that doesn't know any better they would think "oh i can just kick it and go" wrong.
