If you read Andy Bowyer's Thursday Rev Up over at RX he nailed it. Racing in the scorching heat will whip your ass.

The temp today was 97 in the Houston area with a decent amount of humidity. If it's this hot next weekend at Freestone the second moto gates will be missing some bikes.

it will be hot....there is no doubt about it! But to be honest most of the these guys grew up racing Ponca City, Las Vegas, and Loretta Lynns.....they all have their days of being HOT ones....with humidity or baking sun that will just drain you. It is part of racing! Suck it up! ;-) Easy to be said from the sidelines and not in full gear racing 30 mins plus two~! Can't wait for some racing!!!!! :-)

Ha...was just thinking about that today when I drove by the exit for the track. Gonna separate the men from the boys, for sure.
