I was in attendance at Freestone, and man, it was a cool day. I don't know if this has been covered, but James came out on the track after his second moto to watch his little brother and cheer him on. I did a little filming and threw together a quick edit the night of the National, so here it is. If anyone is interested, James can be seen cheering on Malcolm around the 5:37 mark.

For sure. He just looked happy all day, even the few times that I saw him walking out of his Prevost motorhome.

Very cool; this gives you much more of a realistic feeling of being there. I think it even captures their speed better than the TV broadcast, if that makes sense.

That was Phil Nicoletti. He had a tough day. Led the first moto for a bit and then ran out of fuel, then crashed in the second moto. Poor guy.

Nice footage man, im surprised you could get from spot to spot and still get such clear shots, at Southwick your pretty much stuck in one spot all day.

Great job on the video. I also like the raw type videos that make you feel like your there and you can hear the people next to you talking and cheering on there rider.
I also like the fact that your a young guy and you didn't put in some goofy rap music and we got to hear the Horse power. Now you just need to figure how to capture the smell of the race gas and put it in the video.Laughing

I'm an old die hard that grew up on 2 strokes and even I would rather hear the horrible sound of 450Fs than rap or some other ecstasy induced noise they call music Laughing

Haha, I definitely would be beyond excited to get my expenses paid to go to the nationals and do these videos. I don't think I'm capable of handling the TV crew's cameras, though. Thanks a lot, glad you thought it was cool.

Tevin Tapia was the first person to jump it on race day, actually. Blake was just the only one to do it consistently throughout the race. I don't recall ever seeing any 450 guys going for it. I guess my video shows several things that people weren't able to see from normal race coverage. Glad I posted this here.
