Here's a full lap on-board with Guy Martin...and some of his ridiculous commentary. Dude is a nut!

The coverage on the HD theater channel has been awesome, watched every bit of it.

This slow-mo stuff is wicked...

I visited that race in 2006. One of the all time greatest motorcycle racing experiences you can do. They even have a cool little MX race on the main beach...

Some videos are ruined by the crappy music that plays along with them. That first video has GREAT music.

I've got one that will top that maybe, the fastest man on the mountain in practice this year the 'Kiwi Bomber' Bruce Anstey. his fastest lap in practice is 129.69mph. unfortunately the defending champion in all 5 races Ian Hutchinson is still mending from a terrible crash last year in British Supersport competition. Hutchy was the first man in TT history to sweep the weeks races. Anstey is racing the Padgetts Honda squad that Hutchinson ran for last year.

Bruce Anstey

This is Bruce while riding a Relentless by TAS Suzuki in 2010 practice, on a ripper just before the engine gives.

Part of me admire them, but you must be a bit sick in the head to do this? I assume falling hitting a lamp pole or something at 160 mpg has negative consequences?

Pretty cool though! Smile

If you've been around motocross long enough, you know it also has it's negative affects, even at slower speeds. At least at 200 mph (on public roads), it's usually over quickly.

"Hey, this is me on the video !

It's from 1993 when I went of my brand new CBR600 on the mountain and was nearly killed.

On the official video the speaker says that I was out of hospital 3 days later - right, but only to get to a hospital in Denmark.

My spine was broken in 3 different places, all my ribs was loos and I had only half a lung that was activ.

I was out of hospital 3 weeks after the cras, but it took me one year to get back in form.

Best regards

Stig Jarmer"

Guy has a very broad Lincolnshire accent, which may be difficult for you to understand.
