I've read on here that some of you guys say this tyre is shit. I've got this on my YZ125 and the front end always feels like it wants to wash out. Is the tyre that bad or is my set up off? I've also heard the MX32 is a lot better.
Rear = ok, but not best.

The mx32 front is awesome everywhere except rock hard dirt, and the rear 32 is also awesome everywhere except rock hard dirt..
I'm running a 32 front and a 52 rear and it works very good everywhere..
The MX32 loses knobs extremely fast unless you're on a sand track. Anything resembling medium to hard dirt and the knobs start chunking off. The front MX32 loses the outside row in a day on hard soil and the rear will start losing knobs after a couple of rides.
The older Dunlop 756 does not do this. I had two brand new 756 rears on the shelf and raced at Washougal with one recently on my 250 two stroke. It worked really well and showed minimal wear after two days racing two classes.
The Bridgestone M404 and M403 combo was excellent and some places still have them for a marked down price. If you can grab up a set of those, you'll love the durability. The X30 replaced the 404/403 in their lineup.
February 2015 I took two sets of wheels to Washougal and rode a practice day in nearly perfect conditions. Washougal is tilled and watered pretty deep, thus it starts out soft in the morning, develops ruts and works into hard-pack clay with multiple good tacky lines in the afternoon. At the end of the day portions of the track are dry orange/yellow clay with some blue-groove areas and square edges in the fast sections. So basically it transitions from a soft track to serious hard-pack throughout the day.
I switched wheels from M404 to X30 on my YZ125 every moto for the entire day. The X30 is a wider tire with a slightly flatter profile, so it's no big surprise that it grips better than the 404 on flat turns and in a straight line. Both tires were the 100/90-19 size for the little bike.
In a larger series tire like the 120 rear, the 404 probably rolls into turns and ruts a little better, but I'm sure the X30 makes more traction. If you're running a 120 you're probably riding a 450F or a 500 and you'll love that traction.
I run the 110/90-19 size on my old 250 two strokes. The X30 works well in that size on the more powerful bike too. Currently I have one on the front of my 250 with an old (but brand new) dunlop 756 on the rear. My spare 250 wheel has a Dunlop MX52 on it which I'll ride at the rocky hard-pack practice track in an hour or so tonight.
I prefer the X30 vs the Dunlop 52 on intermediate terrain even though it's hard to tell much difference when you find the sweet spot for pressure / conditions. The Bridgestone just hangs on to it's knobs and lasts longer.

52 front washes out, I don't like that tire. 32 is better, but when the conditions start becoming dry and hard, it's not great.
The 52 rear isn't bad, the X40 is better though, but I have lost a few knobs on the outside.
The front tyre, was a bit of a tricky sombitch, i was at 17psi upfront when i first hopped on the track and it was skating bad, i dropped it down to 11psi and its still kinda finiky, I havent exactly felt that planted trust feel, like with my old front tyre.. i will see after my next ride and im a little more comfortable out there... after not riding for a year then new tyres its def kinda hard to judge them after 1 ride.
