Not to sound skeptical or crazy, but that is the wrist he broke his navicular in and has struggled with on-and-off for the past few years.

Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but he said when he broke it in 2010 the doctor "butchered it" when he had surgery.

This sport is hard on anyone who participates in it for long. I don't know many serious racers that can't run down a list of boo boos they've accumulated.

I hope he puts something together for 2017 and gets in shape. He adds flavor and I hope he stays safe. When he's on it, he is fun to watch as a fan. No more big crashes. Both Stewart's by the way.
