Of course I am bias I live here but it's always the most crowded because there is like a bigillion people that live here and Metro areas and the racing and track are always awesome.

I live far north metro area and it's still only 30 to 45 min for me.

My buddies and I used to drive down every year there for a stretch. Started going in '89 and went through the last race in Fulton Co. Stadium. (My buddy was doing some intern work for AMA and was able to get us press box passes for the race, free beer and dogs, then when the race was over, we were in the restroom pissing next to Larry Huffman, awesome night), then we went to the first few in the Georgia Dome. Fulton was always the best. Good times, I'll never forget them.

Edit: Side note: as we were in the bathroom, well, we had been drinking a little, LOL, and we couldn't help ourselves but to start yelling every comment that Larry was famous for. I think he got a little chuckle from it.

I feel like Atlanta is always huge. Just because of where its located geographically you have big draws from all directions. Every year there is a huge crowd from Birmingham that goes, then you have all the Tennessee fans, all over Alabama, Florida panhandle, the Carolinas. With the exception of the florida panhandle, Atlanta is the closest round for all of those areas and well within driving distance. Sad I have to miss out this year due to work!

A resounding yes, from the criminal crowd.

It's always very windy when it's sx here in atlanta. It was 75 yesterday and tonight will be cold and the wind is brutal. Seems like this almost every year.

This may have happened more than once, but I seem to remember one year the crowd was on their feet the entire main. It was so exciting. Crowd was hooting and hollerin' the whole time. I'm pretty sure it was Reed and Bubba banging bars causing all the excitement. Now that I think about it there have been so many epic races in Atlanta.......yep its the best!

I am not at all qualified to answer this question, but I will go ahead and say - possibly.

Never been to LA huh.

I've been to them all many times and A1 will always have the best vibe imo. It's amazing and all the pent up passion + feeling in the pits is unlike any other.

A1 seems to have the most buzz for obvious reasons; but from an east coaster's point of view, it seems much of the West Coast crowd gets a little desensitized to it all since it's such a major hub for the sport and there are so many races out there (hence awful USGP attendance)

That being said.... Yes, I sincerely believe Atlanta is the best round and is held in very high esteem by the sport, industry and the fans.
