"Earlier this week, we caught up with Ben Townley to chat about his plans for racing the USGP and the Motocross des Nations, along with what he's been doing since retiring from professional racing, along with a little background about his decision to retire, how he's enjoying racing these days, and his current gig with HRC of Japan."

Such a down to earth guy, as a Kiwi (albeit living abroad) I love the fact hes back and enjoying riding....I hope him and the rest of Team NZ do well in MXoDN

Got the chance to watch him at the Manjimup 15'000 last year and from just observing in the pits and on the track it looks his got the same amount of focus and determination as the old days. Glad his enjoying it though and it's not a daily grind, such a solid bloke too.

One thing we know about BT is that he will give it 110% all the time. He doesn't do anything half assed, I'm really looking forward to seeing how he does these next two weeks.

Great to hear that Dave Thorpe has stepped up to help those two guys too

Lucky enough to see him race at the final round of the Aus Nationals, so good to watch.

Wish I was making the trip to the U.S and on to France to see the Kiwi and Aussie boys in action.

4 Aussies and 2 Kiwis racing this weekend!

I'll never forget watching him and RV go at it on the PC 250's. He gave RV everything he could handle and rode his guts out!

Looking forward to see BT ride again in person at the Des Nations. Pretty cool he is getting help from Dave Thorpe's Buildbase Honda team in France too.

I had a weird thought while listening to that.. is it possible that if he didn't have all the injuries he wouldn't be as comfortable or as happy as he is now?
I mean he probably would be haha but he seems like he's pretty happy and definitely killing it
