Reed posted a pic on his instagram with some career stats, I noticed the following..

Jeremy McGrath, 173 SX starts, 72 wins. 42% win percentage.
Ricky Carmichael, 115 SX starts, 48 wins, 42% win percentage.
James Stewart, 118 SX starts, 50 wins, 42% win percentage.

Reeds percentage was something like 36% or something like that if i remember right.

Like the ant biting the lion s tail, I say that Mac was in a less competitive era . he would pull a lap on the field and cruise to the flag . by 2000, there were 3 or 4 on the lead lap.

I would argue that MC's competition was just as tough, if not tougher, than the field that RC, JS and CR raced in the mid-2000's.
