Besides a concussion Tommy has a crack in his seventh vertebra. It's not clear if he can compete in Argentina.

The Qatar crap was bad enough but the accident this past weekend has taken away half my vigour for the season, absolutely gutted for Tommy.

Ouch! Massive endo. Herlings was close on the same jump. Hope he heals up fast and comes back strong. Thanks for posting.

Wow, that was horrendous! The finish line jump almost caught a couple of riders, Jeffrey being one of them and I think Tony had a moment on it too. Get well soon Tommy.

Wow, that was dirty. Surprised he didn't try stepping over the bars. Not that I would have either, but these guys are better at everything, including knowing when to bail.

Tommy will miss 4 GP's, he's not aloud to ride for 8 weeks. He hopes to be back in Matterley Basin.

It will help him that there is a 3 week gap between Thailand and Argentina, and a 2 week gap between Argentina and Trentino. Hopefully he won't miss too many GP's. It might give him a chance to get his thumb back right again too. Hopefully he can come back swinging

By the way, Anstie started with bike practice again today. Everthing looks good for Argentina.

Sure. Rotating mass of the front wheel suddenly stops when you grab the front brake in the air, and the displaced energy from the rotation helps lift the back end of the bike higher.

Langston used to do that a bit.

Looked like he caught his foot while trying to scrub.

That was scary. Probably the worst kind of crash you can have.
