Heys guys i'm from Michigan and used to be a racer awhile back. If any of you remember the ol F&S suzuki team I was on the am team with about 100 other guys lol. Well like 90% of all the racers I know I fell out of it around college. that was 10 years ago. In the last 3 years I have been getting into watching racing again. Well my wife loves it so much she bought us tickets to the indy supercross for my bday, since supercross doesnt come within 5 hours of where I live lol. I remember that you could go to local dealers to get early passes to go see practice and early qualifying and basically see racing all day. I just wanted to see if anyone knows of this or any other info would be cool too. Thanks!

I'll be there. Driving from Cincy though so it's not as bad as a drive. I thought the gates open @ 12:30 to anyone with a night show ticket? Do I need a special ticket to watch the practices/qualifying during the day?

F&S Rider from Cincinnati here. I know some dealers have the passes or used to. I haven't been in about 4 years but may try to snag a ticket and head up.

I will be pissed if I can't get in at 12:30 to watch practice. I hope you don't need some sort of "special" pass. I was planning on going at 12:30 and trying to get in with my regular ticket.

SO you are up in Clinton Twp. area then? I am near Cabelas, or 20 minutes south of Ann Arbor.

I just called Lucas Oil Stadium. You can get in to watch practice during the day with your "Night Show Ticket". If you want to leave after the practices prior to the Nightshow they will stamp your hand for re-entry! Pumped! After last few weeks, its shaping up to be an epic race!

This is true at all the rounds I believe, you can go in and watch practice with your ticket.
Some of the rounds do not have open pit areas because of space not sure if Indy is one of them.

Watching practice is very cool, you get to see these guys figuring out the track and trying to lay down the fastest lap they can.

Like I said we are going and watching the practice and go into the pits early after noon. Should be a sweet race!

Oh its gonna be a badass race. I'm calling Sipes with the win izzi on the box hopefully for the lites and Dungey is due for a win in the supercross class. Hopefully Seely pulls a canard from last year and is ready and on the box for Honda.

Some teams will pit under the stadium, while others will be holed up in their trucks. They don't set up canopies in Indy.

FYI - Do not stay at the Americas Best Inn.

I stayed there 3 weeks ago for the last day of the trade show and when I went to take a shower there was only ice cold water. The front desk said the water heater was broken........and she promised a 110% refund and I have been chasing the refund they promised me ever since then.
