I see a little Budds Creek and a little Redbud in it.
And that is a great thing!

What are all those tall things all around the track ? they look like they could provide shade. I wish we had some of those around the tracks in Colorado. Pinch

Track looks nice. Almost a minimum of man-made stuff. But.....

Distance from San Antonio:

Crawfordsville, Indiana 1169 miles
Blountville, TN 1232 miles
Glen Helen 1310 miles
Lakewood, Colorado 934 miles

ANY Texas track 250 miles or less

Nope, still not enthused. Glad the Mid-West finally got a National.Whistling

Another year of sitting out the Outdoors and having to watch TV/computer streams/channel navigation..........Unsure

Well, if that ain't awesome? I don't know what is.

Will there be an Am. Day?

Is there room in the BTO rig for my "test-bike"?

Can I buy a vowel?

Do they have a website yet?
Need an am day announcer?

The track looks like it would be nice and fun to ride. Not to be to negative, but this looks like it will be the worst track to view as a spectator ever. Between the trees and the million banners they will put up, you are not going to see shit. Maybe I'm missing something. I can't help but think we gave up Steel City for this? To me this looks like it would be an awesome district track. I just can't see it as a National. Maybe need a broader view to see where fans, rigs and circus are going to be would change my thoughts. Either way, God bless anyone who gets run off the track dodging trees.

I can assure anyone, having stood from various angles around that place, that it's a lot better for viewing than photos allow you to believe! Most of the track sits down in, or is on the sides of a valley. You can see a lot up top, you can even see a lot down in the bottom of it.

It's a great place! I rode around what was finished back in October and actually rode the projected layout back in 2012 and even incomplete I thought it was a lot of fun.

Just a thought, but this track is only a few hours from Redbud. Is it not a similar deal that was Steel City and Highpoint? I loved the Steel City round and miss it. Edit: by the way like the way this track looks, hopefully making it there or Tennessee along with High Point.

It would be great if they had website......or even a facebook. I was thinking they had an open practice before the regional, but can't find anything about it now. Guess I could call, but does that nowadays. :-)

JB 19, there won't be an open practice before the regional, but I believe there will be practice on Friday for Regional entrants. And they do have a Facebook page now, check "Ironman Raceway" and also they have an Instagram @Ironmanmx. I know they are working on a website.

As for the comment about the trees, they aren't as close as you think from there pictures, and once all of the grass grows, this motocross will look like a city park.
