Thanks for posting that Jay.

Here is a nine page thread from the Old School section about the accident involving Kyle, Bruce Bunch and Rick Hemme. That was a very sad day in MX history. I believe the record books would look a lot different if that accident never happened.

500guy, way cool story, thanks for sharing and keeping the memory alive. I didn't know Kyle was such a hot shot at BMX too. To this day I still remember getting the awful news of the accident. I was racing mini's at Canyon Raceway when the announcer let us all know what happened. Kyle was one of AZ's finest for sure.

There is a little blurb about Kyle on the ABA HOF webpage HERE

KYLE FLEMING
"ABA’s very first No.1 Amateur--back in 1978. Kyle helped put Arizona BMX on the map, and gave DG bikes a winning reputation in the late-70’s. Made the move from BMX to motocross, but tragically died in a car/train accident in 1982."

Kyle was a cool dude from a great family, actually become friends with his sister before meeting Kyle way back in the early 80's. Had some really good times back in the day.
