Take them where? To dinner and a nice movie?

You'd think as team manager, there is a backup bike you can snag anytime you want...

What team managers these days ride fairly often?

If they had a problem with the bike, you might have to ride it sometimes to get a feel of what its doing. Besides that, no...

Now, did I pass the test?

I don't need to ride James' bike to know I wouldn't like a bike with a front end that stiff. I think I'd rather have some of the best mechanics in the business build me a bike to my specifications/riding ability.

I would say no. As a team manager, I wouldn't want to.

That bike is valved and sprung for a rider that is a different weight, and a DRASTICALLY different speed than me.

But if I'm also the boss, then I am building a bike for myself! Smile

Depends on who the Team Manager is. Larocco rides the bikes, DV I'm sure rode his bikes. Don't think Kenny Watson rides team bikes.

So you've never ridden a buddy's bike that was a different weight or skill level than you?...

So if you're taking a break in a break in the action while on a break and you break the brake have you broken a brake or is it the break that has now been broken by the broken brake?
