Look I normally wouldn't post a topic like this because it's been done a million times over but it's been a slow day at work. Soo just like the topic says if you could pick anyone in their Prime for a Moto at a National who would it be, RC from 2006, Stew from 2008,RV from 2011, Everts from 2002 to 2006 or even Cairoli in the early years of the 450 class when he was soo dominant. Those are just a few that come to mind.

Joel Smets, the guy was an animal in his prime, no looking for smooth lines just the fastest line, no matter how rutted or rough wide open on a 600cc Husaberg. Legend.

Hannah wasn't my favorite guy when he was active but damn he beat all of my heroes...a lot. As I've gotten older, I've learned to appreciate what he did in his prime. The Hurricane was a force that I would not bet my money against. Strong desire to win with NFG.

Too many variables. Is the moto 30+2 or 40+2? Yeah, it would matter. Is the track muddy? Where is the moto? If it's at Southwick, a track that has probably changed the least through the years, for 40+2,,, on 2 strokes,,, Hannah. If it's 30+2 at Red Bud on 2 or 4 strokes, RC. On a 125, on old style tracks, long motos,,,, Barnett. Newer tracks, shorter motos, Stewart. If it's a euro track and sloppy muddy, Everts.

Probably whatever the year comparison... Magoo takes this comparison for me. Legend... and timeless.
