Here’s a link to my most recent edit:
It started out as a project for Vurbmoto’s Meta Contest, but evolved into something less mainstream and more personal.
The soundtrack and footage are a departure from my usual choices, and as a result I’m curious to see how people react to it.
Thanks to Vurbmoto for providing a lot of cool footage!
Let me know what you think, even if you don’t like it.

ang5009, that's a valid point and on most of my videos I tend to have more upbeat songs. This case was a little different, as I was going for something more introspective.
MXKing809 and Darryl916, I did experiment with another version that had the slow motion / mellow song mixed with some full speed raw footage. However, I had difficulty transitioning smoothly from the two radically different kinds of shots and sounds. I'm sure it can be done, but in my case I didn't feel like the edit was flowing well.
Chip, Roll The Dice is my favorite poem from Charles Bukowski. Somehow I thought it was a good parallel to all the sacrifices that top level MX riders have to make.
Thanks for all the comments!
five stars. two thumbs up.
Good job man , and I hope we get to see more of your work.

Thanks for the "fresh approach" comment, thephoenix. I tried to do something a lit bit different, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Racer92, I tried to include a variety of shots, but I agree with your opinion about maybe having too many jumping shots. To a certain extent this has to do with the availability of footage that matched the vibe I was going for, but Thanks for the feedback.
Jeffro503, Racer92 and Tokyo Tiddler, it's good to hear that you guys enjoyed the soundtrack and the lyrics! I made those choices based on my personal preference, but I wasn't sure if they would resonate with a wider audience.
Again, I thank all of you for taking your time to feedback here!
