Bare with me.
Would we be pissed off at Grant for helping Kawi by getting out of the way? Just imagine that Grant comes out of nowhere with some incredible speed and is leading the NYSX in front of Eli, the white flag just came out. Pretend Dungey had an issue of some sort and he's buried. Would we not totally expect Josh to help his team? Would he not feel obligated to slide three points to Tomac given the situation they're in? It seems to me like it's just convenient to bag on KTM due to the circumstances, Ryan and Marv are almost always at the front. They actually can utilize team tactics to get the title, while most of the other teams aren't even close enough to see with it with binoculars. If it were multiple teams battling for this title you better know they'd all be using team tactics. I think most of us wanted to see Eli win, or at least have the points closer for Vegas, now team tactics look bad all of the sudden. It's really just perspective.
I'm the biggest Tomac fan out there, if the roles are reversed and there's one lap left with Grant in front of Tomac, I'm yelling with no hesitation for Grant to fuckin move while expecting nothing less from the KTM boys in the same situation.

The Shop
whats done is done
please find some other shit to talk about
And to answer the question, I don't think anyone should expect anything less from the #2 guy on any team.
But to answer the OPs question: Yes Grant would have absolutely "made a mistake" and Eli would have taken the win. Without question.
Pit Row
But back to OPs point... Grand was trying to let Eli by. Didnt you see him looking back and taking oddball lines? Looked to me like he was trying to let him go
There I made it bold for you guys that missed that specific word
A better one would be if you were in 4th but had no chance of qualifying (due to points or whatever) but your very close friend who was right behind you could make it if you let him by, would you?
That is the situation that happened last weekend
Post a reply to: If the roles are switched, Grant's leading Tomac...
