I'd like to see a multi-discipline series take place. I know there have been crossover events in the past, but what do you guys think about this?
Round 1: outdoor motocross
Round 2: hare scramble
Round 3: Supercross
Round 4: Straight Rythmn
Round 5: outdoor motocross
Round 6: arenacross
Round 7: supermoto
Round 8: Supercross
Round 9: Endurocross
Round 10: outdoor motocross
The order may need work and it might be possible to combine some events into a single weekend (Endurocross and Arenacross?).
Okay, flame away!!

What would you do about the field sizes? 40 one round, then 16 the next?
Would many pros risk injury in participating in another series? Who is going to make up the field?
How about a supermini round?lol...Pit bikes?
As far as field size goes, that's something you could work out. Maybe you limit it to 20 for all events. Or... with enough participation, you have normal fields with qualifiers to get into the main. You could always run a consolation race for positions 21-40 in the smaller field events to continue to pay points.
As for participation, that depends on how sweet the payout is. If you have a large enough purse and incentives to get the manufacturers on board, there would be participation. Flip side us this could be something for journeymen or "not quite top 5/10" guys. There are plenty of those guys.
The Shop
Whose going to sanction the events and sponsor a series for these "journeymen?" 5-10 guys are factory riders.
Will there be enough interest to make it financially feasible?
The schedule is pretty full. When would this series run?
They used to run Gatorback as the opening round of MX then the Daytona SX. Perhaps a week long series that has Gatorback (or another Florida outdoor track), Daytona SX, Palatka GNCC, then add an Endurocross, Arenacross, Supermoto and Straight Rythmn event. That's 7 events that could be held over 10 - 14 days. Offer it as a specialty series... maybe call it the Lucas Oil Ironman challenge. Those who choose to try and race all the events would score points towards the "Ironman Cup". Maybe say you must race 5 or 7 to qualify and offer $1 Million to the winner.
But each race would be stand alone during the week. Sort of like the Mini-O's used to be but for pros.
Have a Race of Champions style 2 stroke shootout at the MEC, winner takes all. Would that be more feasable?
Glen Helen...
Better yet build the track for the race on a track no one has ever raced...
Pit Row
The idea being put everyone on the exact same equipment. Doesn't have to be TM, could be KTM or Yamaha.
Go take a look at all the different types of racing Gary Jones raced...& won.
The AMA Grand National Championship is an American motorcycle racing series. The race series, founded and sanctioned by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) in 1954, originally encompassed five distinct forms of competitions including; mile dirt track races, half-mile, short-track, TT steeplechase and road races.[1][2] Also known as flat track racing, the championship was the premier motorcycle racing series in the United States from the 1950s up until the late 1970s when, supercross events held in easily accessible major league stadiums became more popular.
Anyways, I appreciate the additional discussion. Its something I think could be really cool but I doubt we'd ever see the top guys drawn to it. It would take a pretty large purse to entice them I think.
Round 1: Desert Hare and Hound
Round 2: Cross Country (or WORKS type race)
Round 3: Endurocross
Round 4: Peoria TT
Round 5: 1/4 mile flat track
Round 6: arenacross
Round 7: supermoto
Round 8: Enduro
Round 9: outdoor motocross
Round 10: Supercross
