Its safe to say the riders who are taking PEDs will either quit all together or if its legitimate case, to make sure all proper documentation has been sent to Feld, FIM, and WADA. Here is IT9 on PEDs in the latest MXA:

"Do racers use performance enhancing drugs?

IT9: I hate to say it, but I believe that there are plenty of guys in our sport who have used performance enhancing drugs (PEDs). I've heard a lot of rumors about certain racers using PEDs. It's a tough pill to swallow, because I was always clean. I never did anything like that during my career. If guys are cheating, then its a big let down. Just like any sport, when there is money to be made and there are ways to make yourself better, then someone is going to try to take advantage."

The MXA Interview: Ivan Tedesco, Motocross Action Magazine, Page 66-72, January 2015.

People showing a picture of RV like above are fucking pathetic.

It's not hard to drop 20 plus pounds in a year and get fucking fit if you goto the gym every day and eat well. And it's not like RV has huge vertical bicep veins, ridiculously low body fat, of anything else that goes with roids....

Well said Ivan, and this is exactly why SX needs WADA.

Or USADA at least. Not that it would make much difference apart from taking away the big 'European Conspiracy' nonsense that JS fans want to believe.

Obvious troll is trolling but still I would like to say that in 2010 RV already started dominating.

Last time I checked the only rider in the history of American Moto to get busted for a ped was James Stewart, not Ryan villopoto.

I agree with everything you said, except going to the gym everyday is not feasible or productive.

at his age he didn't need roids to make a quick transformation.

I have said it before, fans are a niave bunch.

Of course guys who train everyday, travel 35 weeks out of the year and need to be in top physical shape 10 months of the year aren't going to take something that will help them train harder, longer that's helps recovery and builds their immune system so they spend less time sick. Of course they won't take something like that, because even though they are human and have millions of dollars at stake, our athletes have a higher moral ground.

An amusing post from someone on Vurbs facebook page:

'Euros hurting American Supercross! The FIM Structure. The Board of Directors is composed of:
President: Vito Ippolito (Venezuela)
Deputy President: Nasser Khalilfa Al Atya (Qatar)
One Vice-President: Juan Moreta (Spain)

There is a difference between PEDS n "roids". Esp when we are talking an endurance sport like MX compared to a strength size type sport where "vertical bicep veins" are more common.

I would think that the "difference" is along the lines of the relationship between a square and a rectangle.

Oddly enough, RV decided to jump ship when the FIM partnered with WADA. . . There are many circumstances around his decision to leave, but you can't help but wondering with the timing.

I get your point though, speculating does no good. And the fact remains that Stewart is the only one with a failed drug test.

I sure would if I was doing all that!

But, what posts like this do is over dramatize and over state the whole issue to make it seem bigger than it probably is. There are safe and sane ways to do things. (And I don't know who/what are doing anything)

He left the AMA series because of WADA...to go race another series regulated by WADA...because he was trying to avoid WADA testing?
