Has the speed to run with dungey on a supercross track? We know they work together and he is helping him train but how good for dungey would it be if carmichael rode with him. It would help is intensity and sprint speed we hear them talk about all of the time. He would be able to help him run near the pace of james for a full 20 lap moto and see what it is like to charge the entire time or try to run someone down. I haven't heard if they ride a whole lot together or if ricky still has that speed to run a full 20 at dungeys race speed. Couldn't imagine how much that would help him prepare for james and the rest of the class.

Nope... last year he went out and practiced with Reed, there's a video of it somewhere... not even close.

I know with his car racing stuff going on he probably doesn't have much time on the bike but the guy is extremely fast and I would still imagine so. I mean just being able to be around carmichael and have to have his insight and thoughts on what he can do to the bike or changes he could make is nothing but going to help out the rookie.

These guys dedicate their entire lives to run THAT PACE. So, If you aren't dedicating your life to it - such as RC - you're going to loose that pace, no questions asked. Same thing applies to any discipline of the highest levels.

I can tell that R.C. has 'something' to do with how fast Dungey's goin' on the track: During the main...Dungey was layin' into the 1st turn in perfect 'R.C.-Form'...

I'm jus' sayin'...

What ever they are working on it has helped dungey more then ever. I think with dungey being so young and willing to listen to RC he has soaked up a lot just being around him. Plus he has his old wrench working on his bikes. I think goose is a huge help also, goose tuned for RC's style and Chads style and dungey falls in between both IMO. So he should be able to give him the best of both worlds if that's possible.

One of my favorite clips. The RX video where there are a bunch of pros at Bubbas house is hands down my favorite, but this one is close

A couple of months training and he'd whip all of em. JMHO. Don't EVER count the GOAT out. EVER. Remember, he quit cause there was no one out there to run his pace. Essentially he got tired of winning.

You can see RC's influence on him in everything Dungey does and says. Associating himself with RC was a great career move for Dungey.

I kind of wonder how much of that has to do with both riders training with Johnny O for a time as well.

No denying you cansee the RC work ethic in Dungey's attitude.
