Febvre's didn't seem to work so hot after his first turn crash last weekend either.

No electric start, no hydraulic clutch, no sale.

With the weight of batteries available now, it's a no brainer.

I hope they don't start coming with Hydraulic clutches!!! Then I'll have to spend money to put a cable on.

Yeah, and I've heard that it has a Kickstarter so there is probably something else going on........

No, I'm not joking. It's quite simple really. A cable clutch gives a better feel for the actuation than a hydraulic clutch. Just because I like a cable doesn't mean you have to as well and I'm fully entitled to like whatever I damn feel like.

I don't like hydro clutches either. I've ridden a new 15.5 factory edition 250f and liked it except for a few things. The clutch was one of them. I also use to have a BBR pitbike with a hydro clutch and didn't care for it. It was hard to feel the engagement of the clutch.

I guess you could say the same thing about Honda's depending on how far one wants to take it. Tongue

I'm sure most don't know the real way to use a clutch on a mx bike anyway...

Because a cable style clutch is sooo hard to pull.

Hydraulic clutches never fade and are perfectly consistent everytime.

There is more to the story bro. Having that guy help push must mean that he doesn't even lift!

LaughingLaughingLaughing Let's think about this for a minute. So, other than the way a clutch is actuated (hydraulic or mechanical), they are the same exact thing. Please describe to me how a metal cable fades while a fluid filled line and cylinder doesn't. This could be good.

Yes let us think about it for a moment.....How often do you adjust the brakes on your car? The pads wear...but you never have to adjust them.....hmm I wonder how that works? Not that difficult to understand.

A bit of common knowledge is more useful that your petty sarcasm...especially when you do not understand how simple machines work.

My Kawi cable operated clutches were always great. But I raced a '12 CRF 450 Honda that would lose feel in the lever after about 15 minutes. Why do you think bikes come equipped with quick adjust clutch perches now?

Was that everything you thought it would be Wink

Clutches fade due to heat, not wear, like brakes in your example. I understand your logic, but feel they both fade the same. No amateur needs to worry about clutch fade in a 4 lap moto (6-8 if you're racing A), especially on a 450.

Whole lot of crazy going on in here!

If that bike, or a limited production version of it, were avail for the '16 racing season...

Who'd want one?
