"Did you knock the wind out of yourself?"

Uhhh, yeah I'm pretty sure he knocked more than the wind out of himself.

Dude has commitment issues... He did the 'novice' hesitation then goon gas-it right before he hit the jump. I bet he would have made it had he just left it pinned.

I completely disagree. While he did come up short, his big issue was how hard he was kicked.

I think if he would have came in with more speed, let off, and then accelerated hard at the face he would have been alright.

For high speed jumps with a small face the suspension needs to be set before one hits the face or else it kicks them over the bars.

Maybe grab another gear, sounds like the bike is pretty much topped out when he hits the lip.

My friend rode someone elses 110 one time on the milestone minibike track and there was a set of low doubles. Faces were maybe 2 feet tall. He came into them super fast and wen right over the bars across the landing. twas funny to watch

When the KTM frame question was asked earlier this week I thought of this video.

Yep, that sharp, short face was the real killer here.

Kinda reminds me of me 4 months ago. And yeah I was on a 4 stroke haha..
Mine was less than half that distance and resulted in a badly broke rib...ouch.

I leave the throttle pinned and slip the clutch, let revs build then engage to lift the front and squat the rear.

Lol that's funny! For real, anyone who says he ever had a chance at making that gap doing this or that better is crazy because that 'lil kicker' wasn't giving him anymore pop unless he did a serious SEAT BOUNCE off it! In that case he may of landed on his back after almost completing a front flip. That guy has the biggest brass nuts for attempting that and for making it as far as he did I give him a golf clap. My advice here would be to never attempt something this insane ever!

That guy had plenty of time to shift, something tells me he was the only one to try that.
