Apparently this is a done deal and at the end of the season there should be a press release. Barcia as been on a Honda since the first time I saw him on 80's years ago. How do you think he will adapt to the Yamaha? How much is Factory Yamaha involved?

You guys sound like you have some insider info. How fast did it sour? How sour is it?
Ok ok, I think he can win, he should be on every podiums from 2016 ...
Good question. Sucks that Josh and Justin are out, but it will be cool to see how Phil and Vince do.
bottom line is settle for second or be a champion. Look at how a great attitude Reed had this year and was kicking but.
Pit Row
He's been a Honda factory kid since 85s. Seems like a pretty long lasting relationship to me.
He's signing with KTM and replacing Roczen in a move that will have him off of Honda onto a Yamaha and off to KTM before any real press release has been sent out to anybody.
Bet he will get along good with the Yamaha. Seems like bike is sorted out & it's working really well. Some of the things Brayton has displayed with power, traction & handling have been really impressive.
As for the forward slanting engine, check back in 5 or 6 more years when it's long enough they can abandon it without too much embarrassment and while still saving face. If it's still around at that point, they will have worked out the kinks.
