I had a pretty similar crash this summer, but mine was because my back tube popped rather than a slick spot. There was a jump right out of the corner, and as I got on the gas the back end just swung out wildly and sent me off the side off the jump and over the bars to the flat ground beneath it. That was a pretty scary one but I made it out unscathed.
