There was a turd of a thread that got flushed a bit ago. Someone mentioned that they were, "Surprised and disappointed," that it hadn't been dealt with.

I just spent the last two days driving home from Oregon after getting word from dad that my mom has been in the hospital for several days and that she's scheduled for surgery today. Consequently, I hadn't been checking the forum.

Someone finally emailed me this morning. I went to check on it, clipped a couple people, and went to comment on it, but one of the other admins had clipped it.

When in doubt on questionable threads, email is always the easiest route for fast action. sgiberson@vitalmx.com

There was an admin in the thread, and I was hoping to politely nudge him into action. Next time I will take the direct approach instead of subtlety.

I'm truly sorry to hear about your Mom. Prayers and positive thoughts for her safety.

I would like to apologize for the first post I made in that thread. I didn't realize what it meant, and also didn't realize what the aim for the thread was until much later. I'm not here to offend people, nor do I feel like I am at all raciest towards any people or group.

Hope your mum feels better and makes it through OK.

I am going to assume that the Admin like me had NO clue what it meant.

There were some in there working hard buffing and polishing that turd of a thread. Some even brought vintage Elsinores as well as bacon and eggs. But in the mid day sun, there was no denying that it was still stinkin'.

Best wishes for mom!

Meh. Not even interested. The less I know, the less trouble I can get in over it.

Saw the title of that thread and didn't even want to know. Never clicked it-no need.

Best of luck to your moms, Steve.

Given the context of the thread, it was a racial slur.

Sorry to hear about your mom Steve! family should always come first......this board can come later. I think guys like ML512 and Scottie can flush those bad threads as well correct? Either way....it's gone now. Not sure what that shit heads deal was with starting a thread like that. Pretty dis-tasteful.
