Here are a couple pics of my 2002 RM250 I just buttoned up tonight. I've actually built this bike twice. I didn't like how it turned out the first time so I restarted, this time adding a RM-Z450 fork, front brake and front wheel as well as RM-Z450 subframe, airbox, rear fender and side plates. Ready for Zaca Station in the morning. Enjoy!

I'm guessing the smart carb is what you are hinting at.

I had that bike and loved it. It had a solid motor that really woke up with a PC pipe, and the suspension was incredible stock. It's the only bike I ever owned that didn't NEED suspension work.

This was a good thread until you threw that stupid shit in here. I don't give a shit what Stewart rides. I was riding Suzukis when Sr. was still dumpin his load in the back seat of a sedan on Saturday night.

That being said I'm currently ISO an unmolested '06-'08 RM.

@bruce372, how do u like the smart carb? I followed the thread on it on ktmtalk and I was all into but once people got them on their bikes the reviews havent been the greatest, hence theirs alotta of them easy to buy now. Please l would like to hear your opinion.

No Ridge! Get that gay shit outta here! haha....I kid , I kid!! Those are some cool pics! Are those Cali or Utah.....or some where else?

@ Kawaboy 14.......no , I ride the RM because out of the 2 stroke 250's the RM fit me best. And I'm a Kawi guy! Don't get me wrong though....I would own a newer gen KX 250! Like 04' - 07 or whatever. But the RM250 I got was from a guy I trust and I KNOW how much he just dumped into it making it fresh. Rebuilt from the ground up. I paid a little more , but it was worth it. I love my Kawi 450.....absolute blast to ride! But I'll tell ya what....the fun I have had on that RM is just as incredible....in a different way. Best money I ever spent.

Mine is a 1997 USA version, which is very similar to the 1989 RM and RMX 250. In Australia (maybe elsewhere), the 1997 RMX had all of the updates as the '97 RM model.

My bike has 1996 RM250 forks and triple clamps and a Mikuni carb. Slipdog revalved everything to my liking and it is a great trail bike.

Lol

Mostly Utah and one (big rock) is in CA...practically in my back yard.

I'm riding some technical single track near Phoenix on Sunday and Monday...I'll see what cool stuff I can find...

How do you like the 300 conversion over the 250? I'm going to have to send my cylinder off to get fixed soon so I'm thinking about just bumping it up to a 300, just wondering about your thoughts and experiences with it.
