Kenny mentioned on the Pulp show tonight that Hill is still in a lot of pain and Kenny seemed to think it is unlikely that Hill lines up for Phoenix.

Thanks, Downsouth

All the crazy nerve damage he has in that leg, and he is still trying... Kudos to you, JH.

New Jersey loves you bro!

Wishing the very best to Josh. Does anyone know his qualifying times and how he stacked up against the rest of the top 20?

Hill was 26th fastest in the combined times for the 450 class. For comparison he was faster than Jason Thomas and Jeff Alessi but slighty under Brett Metcalfe who was 23rd

He should take 1 more year to heal up. He is still very young.

Which leg did he break and have nerve damage in? And is that the same leg he hurt at Anaheim? If it is, he needs to take at least another year to heal up. That crash at Anaheim shouldn't have hurt at all. Amazing how one little decision to try a backflip changes his entire life.

The broken femur leg and the nerve damage leg are two different legs. I believe he hurt his nerve damaged leg at A1.

Oh shit I didn't realize it was both legs. Common sense told me it must have been the same one. I guess I was wrong. That makes it even worse. I wonder if he'll try to race, not just at Phoenix, but ever again.

Unfortunately the sport is not so nice. I'm sure if Hill can't deliver this year he will be written off and it will be that much harder to come back as a privateer. That has to be a lot of pressure for him. I am a huge Josh Hill fan and hope he gets through this.

I don't think we have enough info to blow this out of proportion. Sure he might be more prone to injury because of the previous incident? But this might be something he will bounce back from within a week and totally unrelated to previous shit...

I think they said it wasn't a fracture, so maybe it's "only" a sprain ankle?

Pretty nice that he's able to ride again. Many people though he would newer be able to walk again? Reminds me of somebody else...

Yep, it's too bad. It will probably just take some time to get his body in shape and those injured areas back healthy.
