How am i (we) going to cope now Outdoors is over

Every year i DREAD this time of the year, racing is over for what seems to be a lifetime! the summer is drawing to a close, all the great memories are slowly fading away for another year.

I just don't know what to do with myself on Sunday's?

I'm not a gamer so i dunno if this is already possible, but are there any online MX games where people can play 'live' with each other? like game of warfare etc?. That would be a good Sunday, get a propper competition going and make it a 3 month season lol

That is correct! Also Nascars title Chase is just getting started and this year I am taking the RV on a 5K mile road trip and camping on the Talledaga infield for the 500 in October....going to be a great fall.

And don't forget we have the biggest MX race in the U.S. coming to Glen Helen in a few weeks. The end of summer isn't all bad

Do enjoy your time here in bama. Bring you bike and maybe catch a practice session at Millcreek (it's really close). Alabama bets a bad rep, we don't all f*ck our sisters and marry our cousins. LOL. And a big Roll Tide for football season!!! Enjoy your trip.

I've only been to Talladega for the tour (I/m roughly 1.5 to 2 hours away). I'm not a big Nascar fan so never had a reason to go but people here here love it!!!

We did a road trip a few years ago to deliver my nephews car to fort benning. Our trip through Alabama was one of the highlights of the trip. I haven't been to a NASCAR race in probably 30 years but I have heard the Talledega experience is like no other. All the reviews I read commented on how nice all the people are so we are really looking forward to it. And not necessarily a fan of Alabama, Auburn etc but I do enjoy and respect the rich history of those programs and might have to include a visit to the Bama school while we are there

Used up all my hospital passes. Broke my body into pieces .. the last one was what ruined me though, the rest I got over or dealt.

Shattered the tib plateau, really the top 4 inches of my lower leg. Drove the femur straight down thru it.

Now have 28ish screws and a 14 inch plate and no cartilage.

Should build a flat track around my sx track, I can still go left.

Shoot off road racing season is just picking back up...ISDE is next week, NHHA just a starter up...and my local desert series is just starting up again after the summer break.

It works out well for me because once motocross is over college and NFL football begins. Once that ends supercross starts. So most of my weekends I always have something to look forward to. I don't know if my wife agrees though.

Off season is when I get to go back and really watch the races I've recorded. Bonus this year...I found myself hugging the fence on quite a few shots...lol. OT...ask GuyB who almost took him out this season and why he had second thoughts about not staking out the absolute best spot for holeshot pics at the Ironman. I had my concerns and I was on the OTHER side of the fence.

.Good deal. I'm glad you liked it here. I'm a big Bama fan but live much closer to Auburn university ( about 20 minutes). I'm also about miles straight north of Columbus (Ft. Benning). I actually work in Columbus. I've heard the same about dega. Both my sons have been over there to the track for the "party experience" but did not actually go to the race, just partied outside the track for like 4-5 days. People here love that place.. I hope to enjoy some cross country trips like that one day...
