The start is going to be short for sure. It looks pretty mellow

That whole section from the triple through the whoops, the sand section and the following rhythm section will be 1-lined. Everyone will have to go wide before the whoop sections to get a drive, and the whoop sections are too short to make any difference in speed result in a pass. And the rhythm section following the sand offers no advantage for going wide in the corner before it to get a good drive.

I am a little nervous about the track design once again in Houston. Having a triple in the first section is not a good idea because only the first few guys will be able to triple on the first lap, and the second triple thru the whoop section looks pretty one-lined too.

The tracks at Reliant haven't been that great for the last 2 years, or ever for that matter. I am hoping this year will be better.

Or go back to the Astrodome!!

They need to bring back some flat 180 turns, like last year.... Guys were going on the inside hugging the ruts, or flat tracking around the outside to set up for bigger rhythm combinations.

You would think with all the tractors sitting there they could somehow connect it....Or maybe that kid jumping the tractors will be the intermission show.

man I really want that game!
i finally bit the bullet and got it couple days ago. that video makes it look really easy. its not. very frustrating. but they did a good job with supercross tracks., its fun. ive probably done at least 100 laps in the past 2 days on anaheim 1. i can pretty much do all the rythems like they did in real life now. not consistant tho.

You are sure right about that, I dont remember if it was last year or before that but they were carting off riders on the table section as fast as they could get back.

Is it just me or that first triple's takeoff really tall and steep and the landing is relatively low and long. Like the one in Oakland before the whoops. I think it would be cool in supercross to have a jump that's even further than a regular triple, but with a big long tall landing! You know what I mean? I huge floater with a long steep landing so you don't land so hard.

I remember a few that they have had at Atlanta like that. Super steep and then a flat landing.

OK, I have never ridden a 450, I'm a 125 guy so please help me out here.
2nd gear start, shift to 3rd, feather the clutch in the corner and launch the triple still in 3rd??

With a bad start I'm sure James will show us plenty of passing lanes...
