That same 2000 Hangtown, Scott Davis on last lap of last 250 moto, only 20-30 yds from old finishline; passed out riding straight thru last left turn crashing into the chain link fence while in points paying position; like 16th, 17th... broke foot, dehydrated; lucky not more..

Buchanan Nat and Wardy's Battle of the Boars in '99 was so humid and hot as well that Scott rode.

I rode Glen Helen back in June of 02. Friends out there let me and the kids borrow some bikes. Don't think I ever broke a sweat. I returned the favor two years later at Rio Bravo in October. You know the October I speak of, in the fall when things are cooling down. They were sweating like pigs. It wasn't THAT hot, probably low to mid 90's, but the humidity was lingering around 330% that day. It was pretty brutal. I've ridden Lake Whitney in July, scorcher! Pretty much most anywhere in Texas between April and October can be damn miserable. At least you know you are losing fluids here, LOL.
