Sorry for the hasty post with no translation or follow up. Yes, the gist of the article is that Honda and Yamaha are going to share resources and collaborate, initially on small scooters for their domestic market. They also intend to jointly develop electric scooters in support of their shared vision of reducing emissions (sounds like Honda but not the 2-stroke strong Yamaha we all love!)

This is quite a big deal for these 2 huge rivals to join forces. There's no telling how far or not this partnership might go. We all know MX bikes are very small segment of the portfolio with very little margin for both of these companies. Makes logic sense it could be an area to consider partnering. We'll see.
