Done. I made sure to include the phrase, "Must be street legal."

Because that sounds like a good platform for JCR to start with to build GNCC bikes.

I wanted 300 2 stroke with Efi.

Seriously, though, are they trying to get rid of kick starters?

Those push buttons have their advantages in several categories, but I still prefer the option to have both like on my 300 XC.

I'm afraid we'll be out surveyed by 13 year olds wanting sick CRF 450's.

How i described my dream bike to them:

TWO STROKE!!!! 300cc motor with fuel injection. Dry weight would be 215 lbs or less. Suspension would be setup for 180lbs intermediate motocrosser with a plush initial stroke and good bottoming resistance.

Then i listed that all of my bike have been honda's and that i plan to get a KTM 250sx next. Maybe that will send a message!

You seem to think Honda couldn't build an EXC challenger that couldn't be a solid off-road bike?

Oh, OK

Anyways, Survey done!

Knowing they will never build another 2 stroke, I focused on a 350cc E start Four stroke. I have never owned a 4 stroke and most likely never will, but, if I do it will most likely be a KTM 350 SX-F.

HAHA! They must be seeing KTM kicking their a$$es and now they need to do a survey to find out what bikes sell best because they dont even know any more.

2 stroke
150, 250/300
must have kickstarter! I would NEVER buy a bike with no kicker.
NO battery, NO starter! If I wanted all that extra weight and clutter, I would buy a 450.
LIGHTWEIGHT
cheap

Thanks for the link. Here was my ideal bikes:

1. 150-175cc 2stroke with direct fuel injection
2. CRF350X with EFI

If these two bikes existed, I'd have both in my garage. The 150-175 for tracks, the 350f for desert/trails.

They could, but east coast woods riders wouldn't buy it. Kind of like they don't buy the current line of CRFX's. Sure, they can be made into solid offroad bikes that are capable of winning, but who wants to put that much time into modifying one to work when you can just buy a motocross bike, throw a big tank on it and go racing (or buy a KTM XC-F)?

To me it looks as if that survey is trying to gauge interest in future offroad/cross country bikes to compete against KTM's offroad lineup and I, for one, am excited by the thought that Honda may actually come out with a competitive cross country race bike.

Someone needs to post a link to the "Kick ass two strokes" thread in the survey. I would have but I already took it.

If they were awake period, they would have found that thread by now and would know what people want based on the longest most viewed thread to ever exist on a motorcycle forum?!?!

And yes, I agree with spyguy. It was obvious the survey was corralling everyone to answer questions directly related to KTM's current bike. This is why I confirmed their fears by praising KTM throughout my written answers! lol

Would be sweet if Honda would bring this Adventure bike to the masses.
