I use them.....They may be flimsy and cheap but if they soften an impact even by 1% they are worth it to me. Fox used to unclude some really nice ones in their 360 pants around 02 - 04 but I lost mine.

use em' plus Oneal padded compression shorts. once you get a hip pointer you wish you had all the padding you can get! Why would any sane person toss them??

I use them with the fox comp short. In this game you need all the protection you can get.
